Megan is a Design and Marketing Intern whose passion lies in bridging the gap between people and technology. Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Megan is a senior at Virginia Tech studying Graphic Design and Art History. She first learned to appreciate design as a means of communication after attending a workshop led by Ellen Lupton, a renowned designer and typographer. Through design, Megan aims to make the world a happier, more inclusive place.
Outside of working for NewCity and pursuing her education, Megan has gained experience in exhibition design, marketing, advertising, and more. She has contributed to The Chrysler Museum of Art, The Visual Arts Center of Richmond, FourDesign, and Silhouette Art and Literary Magazine.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys baking (specifically pies), spending time at the beach, reading, and completing crossword puzzles.
