Devin Arrington

Devin is a UX strategist with a passion for making the web a more accessible and enjoyable place for all users.

Devin discovered his love of delighting others early — he was just 11 when he first performed for a crowd, and went on to play Carnegie Hall as a classical and jazz bassist. That instinct for how an experience feels from the audience’s perspective is exactly what he brings to UX research. His interest in user experience and front end web development formed at James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Design.

At NewCity, he designs and leads research programs that draw on user interviews, usability testing, heat map analysis, surveys, and analytics reviews, then translates findings into wireframes and actionable recommendations the whole team can build on. His clients have included Radford University, Texas A&M AgriLife, and Oklahoma State University.

Outside of work, staying fit is a big part of what keeps Devin motivated. He also enjoys traveling, bowling, discovering new genres of music, and trying new desserts.
