After being hired for his first student web developer position, Jesse taught himself HTML by watching a VHS tape he checked out from the public library. It’s a good thing he did, because it led to a career-long passion for building cool stuff on the web.
Since then, Jesse has worked as a Front End Developer for Purdue University, Virginia Tech, and a variety of small businesses and organizations, both in-house and as part of an agency.
Today, he builds front-end interfaces for sites built with a variety of technologies. He is also NewCity’s senior WordPress developer.
When he’s not making websites for NewCity, you may find him running the website for his local community theater – or maybe even performing with them!
