A digital strategy is not a static document you can print out and put in a binder. It’s a living, breathing set of goals, tactics, and plans for the entire digital presence—something that is also, by nature, fluid and changing. It’s a bit like trying to draw a map of a river while standing knee deep in it. Having a strategy puts us in position to make more deliberate, disciplined decisions in the future. It helps us prioritize efforts based on real data and form principles that allow us to stick to our goals while adapting our processes to change.
