Phil Pélanne, Director of Technology

Focused generalist.  Guitar playing, beer-brewing, ever-programming technology freak.  If there is a pattern to the matrix, I aspire to find it.

Phil Pelanne is an indispensable part of our team. As Director of Technology, he still plays an integral role in database development, network troubleshooting and customer support. But his new position also finds him leading our merry band of developers with equal expertise. Now, more than ever, Phil personifies the phrase “grace under pressure.” When not maintaining our network and servers, Phil engineers back-end functionality for our web projects. Phil is incredibly popular with our clients, who are elated to speak with a friendly, approachable, patient technical guy. Several have joked they might start a Phil Fan Club. (Hope they hire us to do the website.)

Phil earned his B.S. in Physics with a minor in Math from the College of William and Mary. A left-brainiac, Phil develops his artsy-sensitive self by playing guitar, writing witty little tunes, listening to plenty of Phish and dedicating his weekends to the research of fine wines and the art of grilling tasty barbecued chicken.
