Glen Williams, Content Specialist

Webcomic creator. Folk singer/songwriter. Hip-hop producer. Deft hand with a video camera. Trained actor with a laptop and a multitool. Drowning in an ever-growing movie collection.

C. Glen Williams was born in California and raised in Virginia. He studied English and Theatre Arts at Virginia Tech, completed a Master’s degree in Communications at East Tennessee State University, and went on to become a film critic, an award-winning children’s playwright, a webcomic creator, and an actor, as well as an independent television producer.

His movie collection is the stuff of legend and, no, he hasn’t watched all of them. But he’s working on it. If pushed on the subject, he will grudgingly admit that - despite what the prevalence of 70’s action and horror in his collection might indicate - his favorite movie is The Princess Bride and he wishes they still made comedies like A Night at the Opera.

When he’s not pushing content or touching up HTML in the NewCity offices, Glen schemes to deliver his next play, novel, or film, and continues to update Frighteningly Pretentious Komix! every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday online.
