Bethanne Trexell, Project Manager
Mother of 1 adorable “Ever-ready Battery Bunny”. Loves Chinese Brush Painting, playing the Cello, nearly every type of music, fine dining, the ocean and making her son laugh. Fall is her most favorite time of year…Football, Foliage and Indian Summers. Go Saints!
Bethanne originally hails from New Hampshire and managed to land here via Los Angeles, California. Her Project Management career spans 15 years, starting in LA at Novoquest Infosystems as the on-site PM for the Metropolitan Water District. She managed all of their PC & Server installations, disaster recovery planning and simulations, as well as their Help Desk, servicing thousands of employees. Bethanne then joined International Rectifier working on projects with TRW, Black & Decker, Groupe Schneider and many others. That position expanded into Purchasing, Production Planning and Silicon Quality Control. She moved to Virginia in 2000 and promptly started her own business…of all things a Collection Agency. Bethanne ran her business for 6 years, had 5 employees, over 30 clients and several private investors. She realized that she was losing her “pit-bull” mentality and the negative environment finally got to her. So she closed her business and decided to venture into Marketing and Public Relations. Bethanne finally found her way to us after managing the NewVa Corridor Technology Council for 2 1/2 years, helping Executive Director, Cory Donovan, build the Council to a 215 Member Company strong organization.
When she’s not at the office, Bethanne enjoys running SuperKids Academy at her church, being outside gardening, playing football and soccer with her son, going for hikes and flopping on the beach at Claytor Lake. She loves tools and home improvement projects, foreign films, good food and red wine.
