Our relationship with National Geographic Magazine allowed us to creatively explore their newly-crafted WildCam franchise. Each site involved a remote camera feed set up in part of the world that most people rarely see but quite often hear about. We deliberately invoked the theme and spirit of each within the design to complement the subject matter.
The first in the WildCam franchise, this remote watering hole is visited by hundreds of animals every day. We worked closely with National Geographic and the Mashatu Game Reserve to create a design that was complimentary to the effort of the researchers at the park. This included the development of a unique gallery of fact cards that displayed the stats, footprints, diet facts, video and audio of each of the animals visiting the watering hole.

NewCity will have its work cited in the forthcoming Graphis Design Journal: Americas, a focused sampling of the best design in America, organized regionally. National Geographic Magazine's WildCam Africa continues to garner such accolades and has been very well received by the publisher's readers. This project will mark NewCity's first project in Graphis.
NewCity will also be showcased in the Graphis Designers USA 2 annual coming out in December 2007.
