Barter Theatre

The look we designed for Barter Theatre reflects it’s long history and grand reputation of great live theater. The site is both visually pleasing and structurally arranged so that the user may easily navigate and find what they’re looking for while also exploring aspects of the theatre they may not have previously known about. For the homepage we realized that the Barter “experience” is one of personal enjoyment – one that the patrons actually feel as if they are “part of” what they are viewing on stage. We hired a nationally-recognized photographer, and old friend, Kevin Garrett (kevingarrett.com) from the Atlanta area to shoot a series of plays that we would later seam together as a semi-circular movement showing the emotion that only a theater experience can deliver.
