NewCity gets bigger and better in 2011

Well it has been the busiest year anyone here has seen in our company's history. A good year. Good enough that we are expanding to a new office space - nearly double the size in fact. Come February 1st NewCity will be in a brand new space still within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center where we have been for 16 years. The CRC has been a fantastic place for us to focus, grow and play doing what we do best. Our new space will be quite different than what many of our clients have been used to but will definitely embody and encourage that same creative energy.
The CRC gave us the opportunity to design a space around the way we work, not the other way around. Custom furniture is being fabricated that allow us to work more efficiently and focus our energy on projects as teams rather than segregating the disciplines of design, development and user experience. We will also have a number of spaces where work can be done away from a desk or in peace and quiet.
RB26, our new building, is being worked on as I type and will be ready for us to move into at the end of the month. We look forward to sharing our new space as we grow into it and do look for an open house in the very near future. In the meantime, update your records with our new address:
