Barter Theatre’s Formula For Success: Make People Happy

We love it when our clients are successful. Take The Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA, for example. While we've all been seeing stories about how far tourism numbers have fallen, Barter has quietly had a good year with an increase in attendance.

This is quite a feat when you consider that 91% of the theatre's loyal patrons travel up to 250 miles to get there. To be fair, the majority of those people come from within a 50-mile radius. However, at a time when we're all considering alternative…

Meet the Stricklands

So I recently had a chance to sit down with Damon and Ashley Strickland and talk to them about a few things, as well as what the future has in store for Campus Cruizers.

That conversation was great and I wish I had recorded it. But I didn't know I would be writing this blog post then, so I didn't.

Serendipity

I have a few playlists set up in iTunes that I listen to on a fairly regular basis. All of them are different, but I listen to them enough that I don't want them to play in the same order every time. I rarely get all the way through one list at a time, so if I started with the same songs, I'd never get all the way through it. For that reason, I have them all set to shuffle so that the list gets reordered every time I listen.

Today, I opened one of my lists, hit play and then did what I always…

The phone of the future (if it was 1976)

Here's how out of the loop I am: I had no idea there was a market for luxury phones. But, if this isn't an introduction, I don't know what is. I saw an article on the TAG Heuer Meridiist in the latest issue of a certain men's magazine (the kind with articles, not pictures, thank you very much). I couldn't help but check out the website. Personally, I think the phone was separated at birth from the Texas Instruments TI-1200 calculator I had in the third grade. But if that's your thing, it can be…
