This past year I've spent a LOT of time exploring, concepting, wireframing and directing the creation of experiences for mobile devices. Some of that has led to our spinout company, Nomad Mobile Guides. The emergence of mobile apps is the most exciting time I've lived through since the birth of the web in the early 90's.

I love to travel, and I've been lucky enough to get to take many interesting trips in my time at NewCity. Here's my top five trips taken in the last year or so.
Someone Else’s Code
Head down, fingers tapping and teeth gnashing, that’s how you’d find me if I was working on someone else’s code. I want to rewrite it. I mean, it’s awful just look at it. There are no comments and there are ternary operators where they shouldn’t be and they aren’t used where they should be. And to make it all worse, the code is littered with tons of inane variables like temp and iter.
On The Road Again…
NewCity is on the move...traveling all over this great country of ours meeting with clients, on photo & video shoots and presenting to potential new clients. Check out where we have been this week and over the summer.

We took the highest award for institution-wide branding in CASE’s national Circle of Excellence! The entry included the development of the overall brand position and key messages, its presentation through brochures and the new website, and its launch through the mascot competition. Your work was simply outstanding. It was recognized as such by peers. It is working for us, giving us the biggest ever incoming freshman class.
